This problem solving strategy entails understanding the needs and issues of every individual in the organization, not just looking at the management side, but comprehending the individuals who perform the day to day operations. Most importantly, breaking down the barriers and starting to build an environment that fosters team work, loyalty, and focus on the good of the whole, will furthermore create prosperity for individual members.
By bringing the human element into the picture, you can start to build a clear cohesion between all members of the organization. Building true teamwork and loyalty only comes from establishing and encouraging truly open lines of communication. Many companies have tried and failed on this journey.
I believe this failure is due to individuals throughout all levels of a company fearing their own futures, and in turn causing individuality, egos, and tension. These characteristics are what hinder efficiency and profitability.
